Best Inexpensive Gifts
for Women

Aren’t we all looking for
great gifts at a cheap price
right now? I love to get my girlfriends, mom, mother-in-law, sister-in-laws,
and coworkers something small but thoughtful for holidays and
birthdays, but all those ladies can get expensive!
So, I’ve picked out my favorite
gifts for women that
aren’t too expensive. Here are my top
twenty!
1. Handmade jewelry …
I love getting one-of-a-kind
pieces for gifts. It really tells the person you’re buying for that
they’re unusual and unique! You can often get a great deal on this
stuff, too.
2. Bottle of wine …
I can find great deals on a good bottle of
wine at my locally owned wine shop. I’ve gotten to know the
owner, so he’s always willing to suggest something tasty
that’s within my budget. And wine is always a great gift!
Don’t know which to choose?
3.
Books …
Books are some of my favorite
gifts. I read all the time, so I love getting a book! Plus, books
are great because you can get a current bestselling paperback for
under $20. I really think about what the person I’m buying for is
interested, then I choose a book that fits.
4. Candles and Candle holders
…
All ladies love candlelight – I
think it is so romantic! I can always find pretty candleholders and
great scented candles for a good price at my local megamart. So,
putting together a pretty basket of candles and candleholders can
be done cheaply and easily.
5. Framed photos …
I love pictures, and all my
girlfriends do, too. Most women that I know have photos all over
their homes and offices. I can always find a fashionable
picture frame for less than $25, and then
it just costs a couple of cents to print pictures at
Snapfish. Its a great
personalized gift!
6. Pedometer …
With the new fitness craze of
getting in 10,000 steps in day, all of my friends are wearing
pedometers now. They’re a fun, easy-to-use exercise tool, and I can find a cute,
well-made pedometer for less than $50. So, I’ve gotten these
for several friends recently.
7. Homemade baked goods …
I love to cook, and I get a lot
of joy out of cooking for friends. I spend less than $15 on baking
ingredients, a cute basket, and a kitchen towel, and I can make a
great little gift basket for someone. Even just a simple loaf of
homemade bread with some inexpensive kitchen accessories makes a great
gift!
Have you looked in the discount
DVD bin at your local superstore lately? I check those bins every
time I’m in the store, and I always find a great old movie or two
for less than $10! These make great gifts! I’ll buy a classic
romance for an older woman, or a favorite movie from our teenage
years for my college friends, and I’ve got a fun present for
practically nothing!
9. Personalized CD …
I helped my sister-in-law burn a
custom CD for my brother last year, and he just loved it. I know
lots of ladies would love this gift, too. We just chose about
twenty meaningful songs that they had remembrances of, and we put
them together in a compilation CD. For less than $20, my
sister-in-law had a great gift that lasts a long time!
10. Bath products …
In the past, getting high-quality
bath products as a gift meant I had to spend at least $50. But,
with all the brands on the market now, I can get a great set of
bath salts, lotion, and body wash for less than $20! I pair them
with a great loofah sponge or eye mask, and that’s a relaxing,
thoughtful gift!
